Two Suspected Thieves Arrested in Ogun state
Ogun state police command arrested two men allegedly stealing Etisalat Telecom equipments.
The two suspects, Bashiru Jelili and Madu Nwete invaded the Isara-Remo site and made away with eight heavy duty battries worth N1.2million.
The incident was confirmed on Sunday by Abimbola Oyeyemi, by the state Public Relations Officer.
According to him,
‘They have earlier broke into the site of the communication giant where the heavy-duty batteries were stolen and sold to one Obinna who is now at large,”
Further speaking , he said the suspect made confessional statements and all the stolen batteries have been recovered.
However, the suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded, as directed by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu.
