We'll excommunicate corrupt church members - Methodist Archbishop

Archbishop Enugu diocese of Methodist church Christopher Eden said, the church will from this moment excommunicate members involved in corrupt practices and has been prosecuted.
He made this known publicly at the end of the nations address to the congregation of the 42nd Annual Synod of the Church on Sunday themed, God's word, My guide. He further revealed that they were disgrace to the church and to the body of Christ.

Mr. Eden calls for accountability and transparency in the disbursement of looted funds. He further pleaded with the government, to look into the invasion of Fulani herdsmen on farmland to reck the efforts of farmers, and encouraged the congregation to embrace farming activities.
Also speaking, “The time has gone when in the name of Christian faith, believers stand aloof when national issues like the census or the National Identity Card registration pass by.

“Performing our civic responsibility is also a Christian responsibility, we cannot be heavenly conscious and earthly useless,”.
