Abuja court sentence man to six strokes of cane for stealing 15K worth bag of beans

The Judge, Karmo Grade 1 Area Court Abubakar Sadiq,  out of leniency ordered six strokes of cane for one Badamasi of Gwagwa karma village,  for stealing a bag of beans worth 15K.


The Judge said he choose to be lenient because Badamasi pleaded guilty and saved the court the pains of protracted prosecutions.

The prosecuting counsel,  Mr Dalhatu Zannah said, he admitted the offence during interrogation by the police.
